Rental rules & details

-We recommend making reservations in advance by phone, fax, or email. -To guarantee your booking, a deposit is processed at the time of reservation. Deposits can be paid by credit card or cheque. -Canoes​/​Kayaks: One day's rental per item. -Deposits are refundable if cancellation notice is received well in advance. -Canoes, Kayaks: Minimum of 7 days notice required for cancellations. -Any cancellations within the prescribed time will result in the deposit being held as a store credit until the end of the subsequent season, less a $10 per boat cancellation fee. -If your equipment is available the night before your trip, you may pick it up early at no extra charge. -There is a maximum one-day refund for canoes and camping equipment returned early. No refund for sea kayaks or outfitting packages. -Our staff will assist in planning your self-guided trip and provide instructions on using our equipment. -If we determine that you are not able to use our gear safely, we reserve the right to deny the rental. -You are responsible for the equipment and will be charged for any lost or damaged items. -A credit card number is required as security for all rentals. -We accept VISA, MasterCard, and most bank cards.
