River City Cycle Rentals .

In the summer of 2020​,​ the deepest darkest days of a global pandemic​,​ River City Cycle was born... There were very few things to do​,​ BUT Biking was one of them. The city of Kitchener seemed to be prepared with newly lit and paved “rail-trail” paths for cyclists and pedestrians​,​ most notably the Iron Horse Trail and Spur Line Trail acting as north-south arteries surrounding the Kitchener Waterloo urban center. The cycling world was on fire and access to bikes was a challenge that required addressing. Alex Aubry​,​ the owner and primary operator​,​ In 2020 he saw a local shortage worth solving​,​ and what a fun problem to solve at that. He is a doer of all things​,​ sport especially...adventurer definitely. With his recent start-up experience​,​ he thought to apply them to enhance his local neighborhood​,​ Downtown Kitchener. After a few seasons​,​ the demand has been heartwarming​,​ and serving others seeking adventure brings ultimate pride to the RCC team. Originally​,​ the thought was to serve couples​,​ friends​,​ and small groups for daytime rides and tours. At RCC we have learned there is also a high demand for multiday​,​ weekly​,​ monthly​,​ and large teams whether it be visitors on work assignments​,​ students​/​researchers visiting the University of Waterloo​,​ Wilfred Laurier University​,​ or Conestoga College​,​ and office teams looking for team building activities.
